My name is Dorian Aranda and I am from Dilley, Texas. I am a part of the class of 2024 graduates and I currently attend Dilley High School. As a freshman in high school I competed at the varsity level starting as a defensive back. I was recognized as an all-district honorable mention defensive back. I was also a region 4 qualifier in the 200 meter dash. My Sophomore year, I was a 2-way starter at the varsity level. I started as slot back on offense and defensive back, receiving all-district honorable mentions on both sides. I received all district honorable mention for basketball as a varsity starter. Later in the year became an area qualifier for 5 events in track for the 100, 200, long jump, triple jump, and the 800m relay. Qualified for region 4 competition for the 100, long jump and triple jump. For as long as I can remember I have always been a competitive person in general on and off the field. My passion for football began in third grade pee wee football and has continued to grow as I have developed into a young man. I have always had a strong drive for success and always willing to take on a challenge. Given the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level is one of my biggest dreams in life. Being able to obtain a well rounded education as well as balancing the sport I love is a big task. I recognize that getting to the next level of competition requires both physical and mental toughness. I was also selected to play in the national All American bowl in Arlington texas. I will play in the Rising stars game.
