Maverick Smith '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maverick Smith. I currently a Junior at Farmersville High School in Farmersville, TX. Theodor Roosevelt said, "Nothing worth having comes easy", and that is the truest statement I have ever read. I believe working hard will lead you to be successful. My grandmother used to tell me "Hard work beats talent.", so I try to live each day by this moto  as well. I root for my team as a whole. If we are successful as a team, we are successful as individuals. I am not the loudest on team, but I will listen, follow instructions, and give you all I have every practice and every game.
