Football is more than a sport to me. It is about life lessons, commitment in growing skills, constant working in improving mind, body, and soul; and gaining great interpersonal skills as my studies are a priority. I purposefully took on other sports and activities to help me in my self-growth. I dedicate myself to track and field, running the 100m in Varsity to gain speed and focus. I commit to lifting weights and keeping a healthy diet regimen for my body to build, strength, stamina, and endurance.
Also, I make an effort to volunteer in both school and community events such as assisting in the power lifting competitions, the cleaning of our town streets and parks, and visiting the nursing home. This summer I will continue growing my football skills by committing to 7 on 7, attending football camps, and conditioning. I will also commit to my personal character by continuing community service and holding a job as a lifeguard. I have chosen this career path to attend college and play football, as I see myself in the future as a coach and role model inspiring younger athletes in my community.
