Something about me is I never choose to give up, the way to make yourself a better man is by fighting through the bad parts of life. I am a three-year letterman from Sandra Day O'Connor High School in Helotes Texas, as a freshman getting told I would be on varsity was an amazing experience. What wasn't so amazing was having to sit out for almost the entire season because of the depth chart. I was a starter for nearly all the special teams but I wanted to find a way onto the field. I had a chance to do that at the very last game of our season because injuries were piling up. Moving from offense to defense was a big change especially since I had just under three days to learn. It was amazing finally getting in and getting some real playing time, and after that game, I knew I was going to be a starter for my junior season. When the first game came around I was ecstatic, finally getting my shot at a starting job. When the second game started I was flying around making tackles left and right have 5 solo tackles in the first half as a free safety. But inevitably I made a poor choice with just thirty seconds till half time started, I lowered my head and broke my back. It was awful and I never thought I would feel the same. After long and hard months of rehab and healing the season had begun. My first full season was amazing racking up 56 tackles and making a difference on defense. I know I would be a great addition to your team. Thank you for your time!
