Personal Statement
I love the game of football! I love playing the game! It would be a dream come true to play in college! I am currently even considering a career in coaching after college. I am a hard worker. Committed and driven.
I am a Christian and take reflecting my Lord and savior and my family and team very seriously. I am a student athlete. I have grown up in a house with a mother who graduated from West Texas A&M and works at an Elementary school here in Katy I.S.D. My father is a pastor and has his B.A. in psychology from West Texas A&M and his master’s degree from Wesley Seminary in Indiana. So, obviously academics are extremely important to me. I have worked hard to maintain a 3.8 average in high school and continue to strive for high grades as I progress through high school and eventually college.
Playing sports runs in my family. My dad grew up in Chile in South America playing basketball and soccer. My last two years in middle school I played football and basketball but my love is football.
In middle school I started on offense, defense and special teams. Playing outside linebacker, quarter back, and long snapper. I understand how both offense and defense run on the field. My freshman year I played at the tight end and long snapper position. My Sophomore year I started at Tight end / Wide receiver and played long snapper and I have been told I am very coachable. I look forward to the rest of my high school career but even beyond that I want to play for a college team.
