Payton Decker '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Payton Decker and I am a 2012 WR who also returns punts and kickoffs. This past season, I had 45 catches and 7 touchdowns which placed me among the top 5A WRs in the Fort Worth area.

I recently completed my senior season in a district that ESPN rated one of the top three football districts in Texas. With all that I accomplished in this tough district, I know I can immediately contribute to your team.

I believe my 4.53 speed combined with my 4.00 time in the pro agility shuttle demonstrates I can be a significant contributor to your program.

My goal is to play college football while attending an outstanding school. Academics are important to me and I currently maintain a 3.58 GPA. I have also taken several Advanced Placement courses.

I have attended several camps over the last couple of years, and have been recognized as the "best receiver" at camps both in Texas and nationally. I also train with former New England Patriots wide receiver Fred Coleman, to sharpen my fundamentals and route running.
