Swimming has been an influential part of my life since the age of five, starting with summer league swimming. This is when I broke my first record in the 50 backstroke at the age of eight and when I decided that I wanted to pursue swimming long term. I joined my first club team, Katy Aquatics, at the age of nine and have enjoyed swimming competitively ever since. My first big accomplishment within club swimming was holding the record for the 800 meter freestyle with a 9:37.54 at age thirteen while swimming with Katy Aquatics. I enjoy long distance events and am always up for the challenge of distance. After I moved it took me a while to find an environment where I knew I could grow and improve. Now that I have a coach and team that push me to be my best, I am now looking forward to improving both competitively and mentally within the sport.
In addition to swimming I am looking for a fun and challenging academic environment where I can advance in my field of study and explore future career options. I am very disciplined, constantly aim to achieve and will be a great asset to your team and school.
