Preston Mixon '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1 235lb highschool sophomore currently playing offensive tackle. I was a starter on my freshman team and I am excited to do the same this year on our junior varsity team. I played two years of pee wee football before playing on my junior high team. Football has helped me to achieve things I didn't think were possible. I have learned valuable skills that I believe will carry through and continue to benefit me in to adulthood. Seeing the results of hard work, seeing the results of encouraging teammates so we as a unit can suceed. Understanding that hearing you've made a mistake is just a kick off point for improvements. Most importantly I've learned to believe in my self and to use the things that football has taught me even off the field.
