I am an extremely driven & coachable kicker / punter / athlete combo player that also focuses on academics; #3 in my class of over 300. I plan to study engineering and make an impact on my college team & community. I currently have a business making custom duck calls which forces me to be an effective time manager as well.

- Golden Boot Overall Winner with 65 Yard Field Goal winning kick, tying all time Kicking World record for longest field goal. Only kicker to ever have won the competition at this distance kicking off the ground. Kickoff Competition Winner & Kickoff Elimination Winner. Received 4th invitation to prestigious National Showcase. Coaches notes from event: Buck is FBS D1 ready to go! He had a dominating performance at our April 10-11, 2021 Dallas, TX. He tied a long-standing camp record of 65 Yards. He also won both days’ kickoff competitions in convincing fashion with bombs over 75 yards / 4.25+ second hand time balls. He’s a good student and is a 4x National Showcase invitee who has proven he’s ready for big time college football!!

Coach's notes at the camp: "Buck grew a ton since his sophomore year and is almost unrecognizable now. He’s mature, physically fit, and a lot taller/muscular. He has a big leg and hits an excellent flight on his field goals and kickoffs. "

- After earning an invitation based on camp performance, attended exclusive Invitation Only National Kicking Showcase. Hit 18 of 20 field goals from left and right hashes from 35-56 yards in first two days of charting to earn spot in the final competition with only 12 kickers from the entire class of 2022 from across the country. Kohl's comments from showcase: "Buchanan had a strong showing overall at the 2020 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed high level leg talent and ability and had an excellent camp in all three disciplines. He scored 25 points in the field goal charting, had a big ball of 71 yards with 3.81 seconds of hang time and was able to hit a big punt of 46 yards with 4.59 seconds of hang time. He has excellent leg speed and was impressive at the event." Ranked #17 kicker in the country with Kohl's.
