Personal Statement

The football field has always been a place for me to release. I always tell people that whenever I hit the football field, no matter what I am going through, I am able to put my problems aside and just work on the thing that I love to do the most... play the sport of football. The best aspect of football is the lifelong brotherhood I have been able to create with my teammates. Having the ability to form a brotherhood with an entirely new locker room is something I am ecstatic about doing at the next level. I am truly excited about the opportunities that football is currently creating for me academically. I always shrugged off the candid remarks people made to me about the ability to use you football as a tool to receive an elite level education, but now, entering the end of my high school career, I am fully realizing the opportunities that football is presenting to me. Football is a beautiful game, and I will be truly blessed if I am able to play it at the next level.

Received an invite to participate in the US National Team High School Training Camp in July 2019. However, my foot was stepped on by a cleat in the final session of this Regional camp. My broken foot required surgery and the insertion of a screw in my 5th metatarsal. I was not released to play by my surgeon until August 2019.
