As a young kid, I always wanted to be a football player. My dad would always tell me how football would make you a better person. He wasn't just talking about my performance on the field. He was talking about dedication, positive attitude, discipline, responsibility, strong work ethic and respect. I have learned all of these things and more from my parents as well as my participation in football. I have received many awards from my teachers and school faculty members because I possess the qualities of a person with strong leadership skills and character. I would like to continue playing football for as long as possible. I have the drive and determination to work towards this goal. My parents have taught me to never give up and to complete any task that I have started. I plan to reach my goal as a collegiate player and be a positive member of any college team that gives me the opportunity.
