To me it is all about doing the little things right. Everything I do, I do it 100%. Whether it is running down a QB, getting water for my teammates, helping coaches with equipment, lifting my brothers up when we are down, whether on the practice field or the game field, I go full speed, 100%.
It's all about my habits. Every single day I am out-working everyone. Every day, I do more than what is expected. Little by little, piece by piece, I get better.
I have always been coached to focus on Attitude, Energy and Effort. I keep my attitude in check. I stay upbeat and full of energy. I give it 100% effort. God will take care of the rest.
My goal is to play in the NFL and there is no plan B. I work every day as if I am headed to the NFL.
I am not just a football player, I am a leader. I lead by example. I make mistakes, yet I bounce back and do my best to not let the errors weigh me down. I do not want my mistakes bringing down my team with me, so I gotta pick it back up, quick.
I am very coachable and open and willing to learn in all situations. I'm from Texas, so I also do not get my feelings hurt when a coach gets onto me. I understand it is all just to make me better.
Put me in coach. I won't let you down.
