Matthew Lewallen '19 Recruiting Profile

I have always loved playing football, but it took a little longer for my abilities to catch up with my passion.  However, the summer before my sophomore year, everything finally started to come together for me and my hours in the gym, with a personal trainer, and a lot of heart and dedication started to pay off for me.  I am a hard worker, dedicated, willing to listen and learn, but most importantly, I am always wanting to improve my skills and abilities in order to reach my goals and to begin to set new ones to conquer.

I want the chance to play football at the next level because I believe I have the capability to play and to be a true asset to a team.  And, I have the ambition and desire because it is my goal to play football at the next level.  Most importantly, I have a great support system that encourages me and pushes me to do and be my best.
