Anderson Smith '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anderson Troy Smith Jr., but everyone calls me Troy.  I currently attend Klein Oak High School.  I started my High school journey as not only a student athlete,  but also a member of the International Baccalaureate program.   It is an enormous responsibility is to maintain high grades in this program while giving 100% of myself to my Athletic dreams.  My mother has instilled in me that hard work and dedication is required to achieve any goal and accomplish your dreams.  With that being said, I give my all plus extra to everything I do.  I am not a perfect student or perfect athlete, but I am hardworking, dedicated, dependable, intelligent, and confident.  I believe that my biggest competition is myself.  I am the only person that I can control and the only person that can hold me back.  Therefore, I compete against myself constantly.  When I think I am at my best, my goal is to work to be better than that.   I do all that I can to ensure that I have the best chance of touching the field so I can be a positive and productive impact for my school and team. All of these qualities make me the best athletic and academic candidate for any school.  Any coach I have knows that I will give my all on and off the field, and I don’t take any opportunity for granted.  So thank you in advance for considering me for your program.
