Cameryn Johnson '23 Recruiting Profile

Swimming has and will always be the sport that shaped my character. I am a stronger and more determined person because of swim. I've been swimming since I was 4 years old, and my love for the sport has only grown.  I strive to be a leader in and out of the pool,  encouraging my teammates and pushing myself to be the best I can be.  As an Texas High School All-State Honorable Mention athlete in the 100y free, a 3-year Varsity  Letterman, 2 time District 100y free Champion as a sophomore & junior, 2 event NCSA Junior Nationals Qualifier, 100y free futures qualifier, High School Texas State qualifier in the 100y free and a member of the State 200y & 400y free relay women's team, I'm excited for the years to come and what I can achieve!

Similar to my swimming career, I have a very determined mindset when it comes to my education! I love learning and have always pushed myself to strive for excellence. I have a 4.97 GPA, rank 93/ 820 in my junior class, was a 2023 class officer, was selected into the Texas All-State Region Treble & Honor Choir and received the President's Volunteer Service Award (Gold) in 2019 & 2020.  I'm excited to see what the future has to hold as a collegiate student athlete.
