Personal Statement
My name is Alec Davison (6'1", 243 lbs) and I am a senior at exemplary rated Clements High School (5A) in Sugar Land, Texas. I was named team Captain by my teammates this past season and am nationally ranked by ESPN as one of the top inside linebackers in the nation (#30). I was recently selected Football Academic All State, currently maintain a 4.00 cummulative G.P.A. and received an SAT score of 1,730 (1,150 Math and Reading combined). In February, 2012, I will be inducted into the National Honor Society. On 3/9/11, I ran a 4.44 and 4.47 40 yard dash as measured by my high school coaches. I ecently incresed my max bench to 400lbs and max squat to 455lbs. The day after my senior year season ended, I began working with my private strength and conditioning coach to prepare for the next season, something which I have been doing since my sophomoreyear. Two years ago, I began working with a sports nutritionist to enhance my lean muscle mass and my currfent body fat in only 6%. I have had a tremendous passion for the game since I began playing youth football at the age of 8, during which I had the good fortune to have been coached for three years by NFL Hall of Famer, Bruce Matthews. I believe my dedication and commitment to reach my full potential as a student-athlete will help me achieve my goal of playing college football for a premier Division I program. Please feel free to contact Keith Knowles, Clements Head Football Coach ([email protected]), LeRoy Franklin, Director of Fitness at Sweetwater Country Club ([email protected]) or my father, Kyle Davison ([email protected]) should you have any questions or desire any additional information.
