Preston Paulson '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6ft., 190lbs. linebacker/safety at Terrell High School. I ran a 4.69 in the 40, and have a 30in. vertical. My most important accomplishment is being a great student athlete while staying out of trouble and helping my mom (since my mom was a single parent for 15 yrs of my life). I want to do something with my life and not be a statistic. I want to be an example to other kids. I am going into my senior year and have been named Defensive Captain. I am a hard worker, and always want to be on the field even during scout team. I would like to attend LSU or TCU because of the opportunities they offer, but I am open to other colleges. It really doesn't matter how big the college is. My family is in financial need, and will not have a way to pay for me to go to college so I have been working toward earning the scholarships needed so I can go to college and be the 1st in my family to do so and graduate with a degree, and make my mom even more proud of me. It has been my dream to play college sports and then go on to the NFL. My athletic goals for this year are: to be a leader, to get over 50sacks, over 100 tackles, 10 picks, 10 forced fumbles, and 3 touchdowns.
