My life has been full of challenges, and playing College Football is the next one on my list.
I'm a 5'8", 170 lbs running back from The Woodlands, TX. This is my first year playing on varsity as a junior. I ran a 4.38 40 yard dash, bench press 225 and squat 375. I have a 3.75 GPA and I'm currently in the process of taking my SAT. I am looking for a first class college education. I'm looking in pursuing a University with great academic reputation in the field of engineering. In my personal opinion, ideally by my athletic performance, a D1 AA school with high academics would be the best for my fit.
When I was 4 years I started playing football in a local football league, ever since, it has been one of the most important things that my life consisted on. I played 12 seasons there before I started playing football at The Woodlands Tx. On my freshman year I was told by my coaches that If I continued playing as I was I had a chance to play College football. Realizing I had the potential, ever since, I committed myself to be the best student and athlete I could possibly be.
Being a responsible and successful student is not a quality that can be learned by oneself. I thank football for giving me that quality. I learned many things playing this sport and one of the most important is the fact that there is no "I" in "team". I remind myself that every single day. Everything I do always goes to the team, my brothers on the field, and any body counting on me to do the job. Without them it would be impossible for me to succeed. Just like me trying to accomplish my goal of getting to the next level. I know it's going to be hard and there will be some ups and downs, I will give my best to find out what I am capable of doing inside and outside the field and sharing it with my future school. I am determined to keep moving forward, succeed and be better than I was yesterday.
I love football and my goal is to keep playing as much as I can.
"The difference between a successful person and others is not the lack of strength, not the lack of knowledge, but rather the lack of will."
