Dear Coach, One of my goals is to play competitive sports beyond High School at the college level. I've already been playing multiple sports for over 10 years and am working hard to meet this goal in the classroom as well as on the field/court.
Football is my first love but I also love playing basketball and baseball. I start for my school in all 3 sports and have had the honor of being selected as captain and all-star teams for each. I love competing, challenging myself and working with my teammates to be the very best. I know at some point I will need to focus on one or two sports to be able to compete at the highest level but right now I love all three so much and do well with each of them so it would be hard to give one up. I know that playing sports is a privilege and that performance in the classroom is most important as it prepares me for what I will be doing later in life.
Here are my varsity football game stats for the 2018 season from my junior year at American Fork High School in Utah for your consideration. We are in the state playoffs so hope these numbers will continue to grow.
Offense: Receiver- 79 receptions for 1300 yards and 15 TD's.
Special Teams: Kick Returner- 4 Returns for 78 yards. Punt Returner- 5 returns for 30 yards.
All-purpose yards: 1430
We finished the year with an 8-2 record and tied for first in our region. We made it to the State Championship game where I had 9 catches for 117 yards.
