I have been playing football for 4 years but I think I have a real ability for the game. If I'm not playing the game I am watching a game. Football teaches me a lot about playing on a team and developing my skills.
I work hard at football like I do at school. Practice and lifting takes up every day of the school week plus a game on Saturday. Even with such a full schedule I fit time in for my studies. I try to prepare myself for the field by training and learning from past games. I focus on the game ahead, looking for opportunities to help my team succeed.
College feels like the next step in my academic and athletic career. Preparing for life as an adult means making hard choices and working hard. I know that nothing worth having comes easy so I work hard to get ahead. I try to be a leader to encourage others on the line and push themselves.
