Andrew Samonte '20 Recruiting Profile

The five seasons I have spent playing football have taught me that here are many aspects and qualities bigger than myself. I want to continue learning throughout my high school and college seasons.

I am a leader by example and known for my aggressiveness and my ability to learn. In my first season of high school football, I was one of four captains for the whole season. I love leading others and making sure to lead to the best of my abilities. Additionally, I was awarded the "Savage" shirt seen in my profile picture. The shirt was given to six players throughout the entire freshman through varsity program. Each player received it for a different quality. I earned my shirt for my aggressiveness and ability to learn in any circumstance. I also received the Freshman Defensive MVP award. Both the shirt and the award were given to me by the varsity coaches.  

I love to lead, learn, and play to the best of my ability. Football has given me so much more than I ever knew one could ask for. I want to keep pursing the game through college.
