Micah Rivers '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'7", 180 pound running back from Charlottesville, VA. I have played varsity football for Albemarle High School for 1 year. My GPA is over a 3.0 and I'm involved in many leadership type clubs. I compete in one of the toughest districts in the state of Virginia at the 3A level. I also start at Defensive back for my high school. The type of college I am interested in playing for is a college whose football team is ready to compete every year, I like competition because the higher level of play helps me become a better player and forces me to compete harder. My education is very important to me so I want to go to a college where education is a priority. Location is another important factor that I will take into consideration. Overall I feel that I can compete at the D1 and D11 levels and have success playing at these levels. The type of college atmosphere I would like to associate myself with would be a college town with many community based activities.
