I am a well-rounded multi-sport athlete who works hard to get better whenever given the chance. I have grown throughout my life from the helpful feedback from coaches, teachers, my peers, opposing players, teammates, and my parents. Over time, the comments and guidance from these people have helped shape me into a dynamic and versatile asset who is a leader on the field and off. I lead by example and accept feedback with a positive attitude and then implement it in a successful way.
I am 6’1” and 160 pounds and ran a 4.53 40-yard-dash and 4.33 shuttle run at a combine I attended my sophomore year. I have started on both sides of the ball on the George Mason varsity football team since my 9th grade year. I play Safety and Cornerback on the defensive side and Wide Receiver and Tight End on the offensive side as well as gunner and holder for special teams. l was named the underclassman team captain my Junior year (2018).
I currently have a 4.0 GPA and a 3.55 cumulative GPA. I take as many honors and advanced classes as I can at George Mason High School including IB, AP, and DE classes. I have been on the honor roll all of my years of high school, have been recognized as a scholar athlete multiple years and have received the Presidential Academic Achievement Award. In addition to being a starter on the varsity football team, I have started on the varsity lacrosse team since my sophomore year.
I am active in my youth group, school band and jazz band as a percussionist. In addition, last year I took a missions trip Haiti where we planted trees, constructed beds, created the foundation for houses, and ran a children's sports camp for local hurricane victims. This experience has been one of the most memorable of my life and helped me find a love for leadership and growth when I step out of my comfort zone. Finally, I engage in volunteer work at the community level and have helped with a local school board campaign in the past year.
I choose to invest my time in a wide variety of activities and experiences in an effort to have a well-balanced life and opportunities for growth. I believe this has helped make me the well-rounded student, athlete, and citizen that I am today. I plan to continue to seek out this balance and make a positive impact in whatever I do. I am looking for a college and team environment that will help me to continue to develop in all of these areas and thrive in the coming years.
