Matthew Mullins '18 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach,

My name is Matthew Mullins. I am a senior at Narrows High School in Narrows, VA. I play Defensive End and Tight End while wearing the #44 jersey on the Narrows Green Wave Varsity Football Team. I have been playing football since the age of 5, starting with flag football, little league, then moving on to the Middle School Team and last year, as a freshman I started on the Varsity Team. I take pride in representing my school on and off of the field. As a student athlete I also play basketball and run track however football is my passion. When not at practice I spend most of my time in the weight room or on the track. Currently, I bench 325lbs and I squat 455 lbs. Over the summer I attended several camps and won the “Best Defensive Lineman MVP” at the NUC Combine in Nitro, VA. I understand that you are not only looking for players that can help you win football games but players that take academics seriously. I pride myself in being a leader among my peers. I am a member of FCA, SADD, FBLA and the Spanish Club. I currently hold a 3.93 GPA and hope that I can continue to improve that during the remainder of my high school career. I strive to be the best at everything I do and am very driven to succeed. Given the opportunity to be a part of your team would be a privilege that I would not take lightly.
