Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. You control it. You want to be a great Football player, just do it. One of the best teachers of life is the game of football. Hard work, sacrifice , delayed gratification , fighting through adversity , courage, strength, trust, mental and physical toughness are core values that transcend the football field, and prepare all of us for life. Although I am just a high school student my life experiences have allowed me to use these values both on the football field and to transcend the life adversities I have experienced. As a result when I'm on the field I put it all in both practice and in the game, equal effort and equal commitment . My motto is practice how you play, which usually makes my teammates step it up as they know I'm going to bring it at all times. I am able to read an offense to make crucial plays. In two games I had over 20 tackles.
I am one of a few Football players on the team that has been on the Honor Roll. Sciences are my field of interest . I love the outdoors and living and working in the environment. In my free time I fly fish and plan on competing in Bass tournaments this summer. In my senior year my science elective will be oceanography so I can further my interest in marine science.
I have a level head that the team talks to about anything, weather, sports or school work. I am an independent thinker and am not easily influenced by peer pressure and believe the body is a reflection of what goes in is what comes out .
