I have loved football since the first time I played at six years old. My goal is to receive a scholarship to play football at the highest level I can. This would enable me at the same time to obtain a quality education without the financial hardship most students endure.
My father played football at the highest level in college (Florida State) and then in the NFL (Washington Redskins). I would love to follow in his footsteps. I know that the odds are long, but I have the work ethic and desire to strive for that goal and see how far it takes me. I think my biggest strength is my versatility. I am 6’4.5 at 15 years old and can play multiple positions on both sides of the ball.
I do 250 volunteer hours a year at a local hospital. This helps me greatly with time management at the private school I attend. My school has a rigorous academic curriculum which will help me transition into my college of choice academically as well as an extremely competitive athletic program.
I realize I need to continue to work hard on the field, in the weight room and in the classroom. I believe I have the size and the athletic ability to be a solid contributor at the collegiate level. I want to attend a college or university that will allow me to reach my full potential and become a well-rounded student and eventually someone who makes a difference in this world.
