Carson Smith '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Carson Smith, I am from Henrico, Virginia. I am a junior at Mills E. Godwin High School. 

As an individual, I pride myself in being dependable, disciplined, respectful, humble, and honest both on and off the field. 

As a student, I work hard to excel in the classroom, completing assignments on time and putting my best effort into every assignment. 

As an athlete, I am extremely coachable, eager to learn, and contribute positively to team chemistry. I’ve played various positions including middle linebacker, slot wide receiver and fullback. I have performed with the most consistent success at middle linebacker. The success I've achieved at these positions, especially middle linebacker, is a direct result of my ability to be the hardest worker on the field and give 100% effort every play. I am a team player, I prioritize the interests of the team and each player as an individual. I have the ability to think critically in all situations for the better of my team and I, I am able to outsmart and outplay my opponents. My effort and hard work for football is visible in my passion for watching, dissecting, studying film consistently which has contributed to the player I am today.
