Thank you for taking the time to view my profile and considering me for a scholarship opportunity. I am focusing my academics on Cyber Security and am currently completing all the required courses in High School to set myself up to begin a college degree plan in this field. My relationship with God and my parents have heavily influenced my development into the young man I am today. My dad served in the Army as an Infantryman until he retired in January of 2022. We moved to new bases often and I had to adapt to new environments, climates, cultures, and build new relationships with people every few years. I have also had to learn how to adjust to being away from one or both of my parents for long periods of time. I have spent significant time in Michigan and have lived in 4 different cities in Georgia, Italy, South Carolina, Kentucky, and finally Virginia. Some may view changing schools and coaches as often as I have as a hindrance, but I do not. Adapting to change has become a strength for me and I look forward to the challenge presented by new environments. Both of my parents developed me into a disciplined, goal oriented person. I do not get distracted from achieving my goals in the classroom and on the field. When I set out to achieve any goal I set, I commit to the hard work and effort to achieve it. I have played many team sports and focused primarily on soccer and football. These sports have revealed many aspects of my character. I have learned that I welcome hard work. I want to me challenged mentally and physically. I have a lasting endurance and my resolve to succeed grows stronger as the challenges increase. Most importantly, I genuinely care about the development of my team and myself. I want to learn, I want to get better, and I want to grind out the hard fought win.
