Douglas Flora '19 Recruiting Profile

    Ever since I started playing football many moons ago, I knew I wanted to keep playing as long as I could. That hasn't changed, and I'm ready for the next step athletically; however, I also realize that my next step in education is just as important. My goal has always been to attend a great college that will set my life on the track I'd like to follow, and to have that education payed for by playing the game I love.  A trait that sets me apart is my willingness to play no matter what happens: I don't care if things aren't going well in any situation, I will always leave everything I have on the field for my team and my coaches. I honestly think that speaks to my character as well... I am someone who is unselfish and humble in all of my endeavors. I have also been told that I'm a natural born leader and I will take charge if necessary, but I prefer to lead by example.  This also applies to the classroom, where I always treat my elders with respect in hopes that my classmates will follow.  Academically, I have always maintained honor roll over all, as well as in my honors and AP classes.
