Jeremy Barnett '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jeremy "Chase" Barnett and I am currently a senior at Warhill High School in Williamsburg, Virginia.  I was a starting Inside Linebacker for my team and had a productive senior season as I have done throughout my 3 years as a varsity starter. Through 13 games (10 regular-season and 3 playoff games) I recorded 72 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles.   My team finished the regular season with a record of 9-1 and went 2-1 in the playoffs.  I was also a team captain.  I work very hard in the classroom and excel academically having received all A's since entering high school.  This includes the completion of 6 Advanced Placement classes through my junior year.  My football and basketball coaches have credited me with having a high sports IQ as well. I am a National Honor Society member and also serve as SCA Vice-president.  My goal is to play college football and I recognize that in order to be competitive physical preparation in the weight room is important.
