Rodney (R.J.) Stephens '17 Recruiting Profile

I am from a football family.  I have been playing football since I was 6 years old as I started out with the local sports club.  As soon as I got to middle school I tried out for the team and made it.  I currently play high school football at a high school that has a long history of not only winning, but building student athletes.  My work ethic, on and off the field is second to none.  My parents have always stressed the importance of winning in the classroom as well as winning on the field.  They have showed me how important it is to have integrity and to be accountable to my teachers, coaches and teammates.  Football is a team sport where we push each other to get better on and off the field.  I am ready for the next level of play and I am motivated and fueled by my love of football.  My goal is to play at the highest level, the NFL.
