My goal is to play football in college and have it help pay for my education.
For as long as I can remember I have been playing sports. I have played football, baseball, basketball, swim team and water polo.
I love to compete. I love to push myself to be better. I work hard. I listen to the coaches and put in the extra work at home and in the gym.
I started playing football at age 7. I have loved every minute of it. My Jr. football career (age 7 - 14) I played many positions center, Middle Line Backer, Special Teams, Defensive End and my eighth grade season I played Quarter Back and Middle Line Backer. Our team won the GEJFA Championship that year. I was named Offensive Player of the Year.
At the end of eighth grade I started to hit the weight room with the High School team. I loved the commaraderie and how driven the team was. I set a record for my freshman class at the end of the summer benching 135lbs. 18 times. My max bench was 205.
Freshman year I was 6'0 175lbs. I played Quarter Back and Middle Line backer. It was a fun season. Due to my size I was never able to play with my classmates in Jr. Football- I always played with players who were 1-3 years older then me. We had a successful season. I was voted Captain by the team at the end of the season and was placed on the Leadership team for planning the next football season.
My Sophmore year I was 6'1 195lbs moved to a new position on Varsity, starting Full Back. I was placed on Special Teams, and was the 2nd string Quarter Back. I loved being on Varsity. The game was more intense, fast paced and very competetive. I increased my max bench to 290 and was clocked 4.8 for my 40 yard dash.
I have been working out in the off season. I have set goals for my Jr. year that involve my grades, the weight room and for increasing my speed. I am now 6'1 215lbs.
I want to go to college. I would like to pursue a career in sports medicine. I want to play college ball. I am willing to play the position that is best for the team. I will do whatever it takes to be part of a team. I enjoy being part of programs that push me mentally and physically. I am a strong leader who leads by example.
