Personal Statement
My name is Riley Johnson, and I'm from Edmonds, WA. I have been playing football since I was 7 years old and learned many things about the game, including how to be a good teammate and leader. Because of the amount of time I’ve played, I tend to be a leader among my peers by helping them with anything from footwork to knowing their assignment on the field. Having been raised around many different types of people, I believe I have a very versatile personality and get along with all of those around me.
My father raised me to have a strong work ethic, push myself to do better and to never finish a job halfway done. I love to show my hard work on the field, in the weight room and in the classroom, and never give up even when life is challenging. One of my goals in life is to maintain a 3.5 GPA or better in school and graduate college with a degree that helps me with my future job (I’m hoping to become a firefighter or start my own electrician company). Between now and the end of college my goal is to be the best football player, student and person I can be.
