I’ve known I wanted to be a football player, specifically a QB, since I started watching the Oregon Ducks with Marcus Mariota, when I was in 2^nd grade. My dream of playing football at a high level started then and has been with me ever since. I’m confident my work ethic, desire, and can-do attitude will allow me to turn my dreams into reality.

One way I separate myself from others is leadership. I’m keenly aware of the importance of everyone on the team staying together and driving towards the same goal. “Own your 20” as my high school coach says. When things aren’t going according to plan or a teammate Is struggling, I will be the first one there to help. I also recognize the importance of academics. Poor performance in the classroom may mean no football on the field. So, I work hard on the field and just as hard in the classroom.

In addition to my leadership skills, I have a high football IQ, which sets me apart from my peers. My desire to win and team first attitude make me an asset to the team. I work hard to earn the respect of my teammates and take command in the huddle. I understand playing QB comes with a lot of responsibility both on and off the field, and I am ready for that challenge.
