Jack Irwin '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jack Irwin, and I am a Senior at Monroe High School in Monroe, WA. I play on our Varsity Football Team and with the Elite Training Academy 7v7. I am a multi-sport athlete and also play Varsity Baseball.  Football has been my main focus since I was 5 years old and started playing pee wee football! I realize there are so many talented football players in the country, and I have been thinking about how to stand out to a college program since at least middle school. What it comes down to is - I Show Up. Everyday. Prepared. For Everything. I love being part of a team. I want to be challenged, I want to learn, and I love the practices just as much as the games. I want to get better week after week, support my teammates, and represent my school. I hear coaches say I have a high football IQ, and I think that's true. I love the mental part of the game and watching video. I played QB my freshman year, and since then I have been used everywhere on the field; wide receiver, corner, free safety, and kicker. I am extremely versatile for any spot you need to be filled. My team, the Monroe Bearcats, are undefeated in our WA State 3A Wesco Division. We are heading into the State playoffs for our second game next weekend. Our games can be seen streaming live on NFHS. I am the #1 kicker in the Wesco Conference, and the #8 kicker in WA State on MaxPreps. I make good choices on and off the field, work hard at school, and I would like to get my degree in Sports Management and pursue a career within a college or pro football program.
