Jordan Lucas '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello scouts and coaches! My name is Jordan Lucas, and my position is running back. I also play wide receiver and defensive end. I go to Clay County High School, WV. I can play pretty much anywhere, I am an athlete.  I love the game of football with a passion, it's my life! One great accomplishment I had was breaking the touchdown and rushing record at my middle school. (touchdowns:26 rush yards: 1,650 in 9 games). I am currently 5 foot 11 inches tall and weigh 192 pounds & still growing. I am Now a Junior. I broke the all-time single season rushing record at Clay High school my junior year (2012.) I rushed for 1,480 yards and 16 touchdowns. My most important tribute would have to be my dedication to the game. Every practice and every game I am always out there on that field giving it 110 percent until that last whistle blows. When I get that hand-off, I run the ball with a purpose! I feel that no one can stop me when I have the ball in my hands. I have not been taken down by one single-tackler since my sophomore year. I'm also a very great leader! I get guys in the weight room, and make them go to practice when they do not feel the need too. I just do it to make them better football players, and help them realize they're capable of so much. I work harder than any other person around me when it comes to football. I don't let anyone out work me, but still expect maximum effort out of my teammates. I am also a hard worker in the classroom. I maintain anywhere from a 3.5 to a 3.8 GPA throughout every school year. My father has has always stressed to me that my grades come first, even before football. I strongly believe in this. I don't feel that I'm ever good enough. Their is no such thing as too good! I go to football camps, combines, and do anything that is possible to be a more fundamentally sound football player. I want to be a college running back or wide receiver. I know I have the drive and work ethic to do so. I just really want the opportunity to make everyone in my family proud of me. Just to let them know that I went the extra mile to accomplish my goals. I do not care where I go to play college ball, I just want that chance to play! Recently got named MVP running back at the NUC combine in Cinci. Got invited to the Ultimate 100 camp on June 16th in Deleware! Did awesome at the U100 camp, and was personally invited to the top prospect camp at Oklahoma university! Results will follow from this camp. Just trying to work my way to the top, God bless!
