My goal is to punt and kick at the highest level that my talent will allow me, at an institution where I can earn a B.S. degree in biology or engineering.
What sets me apart from other candidates for this spot is my commitment and work ethic. No one outworks me in the classroom, in the weight room and on the practice field. Each day, I work with a strong sense of urgency to improve in all areas.
I work hard in school. My GPA is 4.50 with a schedule full of AP and dual credit classes. I am a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society.
I train year-round. Running track in the spring helps me to improve my speed, flexibility, explosiveness, and overall level of conditioning, all of which help my kicking. Outside of football and track seasons, I weight train with my teammates, and, year-round, I train with my kicking coaches.
My past two seasons have been solid. Each year, I was named the All-Conference Punter. I also received All-State recognition for both seasons -- 2nd team for 2016 and Special Hon Mention for 2015. After my 2015 season, I finished in 2nd place at the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick national finals.
I am a nationally ranked punter and kicker, among the class of 2018. According to both Kohl's Kicking Chris Sailer Kicking, I am a 4.5 star punter and kicker. With Kohl's I am the #25 kicker and #32 punter in my class; according to Chris Sailer Kicking, I am the #6 punter and #56 kicker in my class. (Sailer will update his rankings NLT 3/1/2017.)
While I am confident in my ability, I know that I need to get stronger and continue to work to perfect my craft. I am extremely coachable and am a committed team player.
