Starting as a freshman on my high school varsity football team has been one of the most memorable experiences of my sports career thus far. I learned a lot of valuable things such as how to be a team leader, the commitment needed to be successful, the sacrifices required, and overall how to become a better student athlete. I am excited for next season and am already working hard with my teammates on improving so we can have an even better season next year.
Since I started playing football, I have also been through some hardships. I broke my finger during my eighth grade football year and I broke my ankle during my eighth grade basketball year. During the time when I was recovering, I worked on my academics and now I keep above a 3.8 gpa. That is my goal for my high school career and college future.
I started to play football in sixth grade and found the great passion for the game that I still have today. I found a love for offense and chose to play quarterback. I have also played baseball on a high level travel team since I was 11 which I feel has only helped me become a better athlete. As an athlete who has played multiple sports, I want to look for a program that will not only fit me athletically, but academically as well. I not only have the talents to play for a college team, but the brains, leadership, and the work ethic to be successful at your university.
