Zach Ruf '19 Recruiting Profile

As a kid growing up watching a strong high school football program, I saw the greatness that came out of a sport that many love.  As a freshman I was fortunate enough to play on the team and help lead Bloomer to win conference.  When I was a sophomore I felt I grew the most as an athlete and teammate.  For Bloomer we had a bad year, going 6-3 and losing out in the first round of the playoffs. This was eye opening for me, and I saw things a bit differently. Over this stretch I saw the importance of commitment, dedication, and hard work that ultimately lead individuals and teams to success. I took action, I worked hard on and off the field. I believe that I have what it takes to play at the next level and I hope to find a program that fits me academically and athletically.
