Zach Weir '20 Recruiting Profile

Winning the AAYFL football Championship in 8th grade was an important highlight and capped 5 years of successfull youth football for me and my teammates.  My Freshman year we were 7-2 and Sophomore year we were 8-1.  I feel I grew while learning what teamwork and leadership really was at an important time in my life.  It helped propel me into the person I am today.  I started on JV and also played Varsity football as a quarterback my sophomore season.  I am working hard in my junior year and starting at Varsity.  We are currently 4-2 and on the path to the playoffs.  This experience has helped me grow as a person and as a leader.  I have also learned the value of teamwork, sacrifice and commitment.  I feel I have the work ethic, character and leadership skills to make an immediate impact at a very high level.  I am working hard in the weightroom and film work as well as in the classroom to get better everyday.

My doctors projection for height is 6'2.5".  My wingspan currently is 75"

As a three sport athlete and team captain, I know I have what it takes to help your program.
