Personal Statement

My name is John McCarthy. I am a football player. I have been elected President of my class by my peers. I volunteer in multiple youth sports and at my church. I work 3 jobs in the summer to get money for college and I work out 6 days a week.

I love football. I love to hit. I love to read blocks and shoot gaps. I want the play coming my way when the game is on the line. I know my responsibility. My job will get done.

If I am fortunate enough to play for your team I will be your captain someday. Since first grade I have been the first one back to the huddle, the first one on and off the field and the first in every exercise. I run my last sprint like my first. I pick up my teammates and I lead by example. I will look you in the eye and shake your hand with conviction. I am and will be a straight A student. I will not violate my athletic code. I do not drink or smoke. I will be a leader. It is what my Mom and Dad expect of me and it is what I expect of myself.

Training

  • Athlete X Factory
  • 4 years
  • Athlete X Factory is a training center primarily catering to young athletes 6-18 years old. The Athlete X Factory is a training system based on increasing speed, strength, flexibility, and power, while maintaining a great focus on keeping young athletes safe and injury free. My name is Brad Fitzke. I grew up in a small farm town in the southwest part of Nebraska (Arapahoe). I then attended Wayne State College in NE, and graduated with a BS in Exercise Science. I also played football for 4 years at WSC and coached the defensive backs for 1 year. Then I moved to Fort Lauderdale FL and started my Training career. I had many great mentors while I was there, and had the opportunity to train a wide variety of people ranging from young budding athletes of 5 years old, to working with people dealing with physical disabilities, and trained professional athletes. I then moved to Chicago and trained for another 3 years before moving to Janesville. I took a step away from working full time in the health, fitness and athletic realm and was hired at Good Karma Broadcasting (105.9 The Hog and ESPN 1380). Over the last 4 1/2 year I have been staying current with certification with the NSCA, and found the IYCA. This bring me to now and the opening of Athlete X Factory. I am following my heart and passion back to the fitness world. I truly look forward to making a difference in the athletes I work with, not only physically but in the way they approach their sporting careers and health!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
