To me football is more than just a game. I started playing tackle football in 4th grade and have been playing ever since. It has helped both physically and mentally in more ways than just as an athlete. It has taught me discipline on and off the field, as well as learning to work positively with others through teamwork. Football has taught me how to be of a strong mind and body and to set goals and to work hard to achieve those goals. My next goal in my football career is to play at the collegiate level. I have been working towards this goal since very early in my football career. I gave up baseball my sophomore year so I could spend more time in the weight room. I have a good work ethic and have been able to keep decent grades during athletics. I earned my varsity letter as a sophomore starting in every game playing all defense and some offensive plays. What makes me stand out is that I am coachable and I have a good attitude and sportsmanship, I get along with all different personalities and I will work hard on and off the field. I have set my academic goals on becoming a teacher and will work hard to make that happen while playing the sport I love. I can be an asset to your team and I look forward to discussing future opportunities to play with your team.
