My name is Howard Bame. I am a senior at H.E.M. Jr Sr High School, and I am looking to go to college and play football. I have always been the one counted out and I have always proved them wrong. I know the game of football and I have a deep rooted love for the game.
I have proven that I work hard when given a chance, in my first year starting on my football team in my sophomore year I was awarded with the face of the program award for the amount of hard work and dedication that I put in. In my senior year I was awarded the title of captain and led my team through a rough spot in our high school's history. I have always been a bit undersized and not as fast as other kids but I have learned throughout the years that if you give 110% effort then you will do better than anybody else. Anything that I put my mind to and that I am truly passionate about I can get it done and it will be done better than if anybody else were to do it.
I may not have the highest GPA in the world for my high school years, but I am the best candidate for this scholarship because I am a very proficient student. Looking back at my previous year I really only had one big fault, that was my junior year where I was not able to stay healthy during the second wave of the pandemic in Wyoming and I got behind in my classes. I tried my best and worked hard in order to get my yearly GPA back up to 3.0 all while taking on a job in March of 2022 and holding it all summer.
I have what it takes to make it in college football because I am not only smart, but I will do anything in order to get on the field and stay there.
