My name is John (Hank) Walsh and I am a midfielder from Colorado Springs, Colorado. I attend Cheyenne Mountain High School. Our 4A men's lacrosse team just won the state championship in June 2021. I am a big down hill dodging midfielder, and prefer to initiate my dodge from the top. I also really enjoy playing defensive middie and helping transition the ball. This is a newer role that I embraced this year which helped our team to win the state championship. I have had the privilege of playing for three successful travel teams that have competed at the highest level across the country. The relationships that I have made have strongly influenced my maturity and love of the game. I have been playing lacrosse for ten years and would like to further my lacrosse career in college. Aside from lacrosse I enjoy participating in other sports, I also play varsity hockey and tennis and went to state semi-finals in both last year. Playing three varsity sports has taught me how to manage my time, focus on deadlines and appreciate free time when possible. I hope my diligent nature will be a valuable asset to any collegiate program.
