Playing high-level competition was very hard as my family had difficulty to afford decent programs but they found a way. I started playing since the program in the town I was living in started and I loved the sport since then, I started becoming more assertive and throughout my years taking a leadership role on my teams, I played defense my entire life playing lacrosse and Loved it. my team has never won a championship ever but has always made it to the semi-finals and slipped. My High School program has just become Varsity in the summer of 2018 but we didn't start playing varsity teams until 2019. I've had many rough bumps through my lacrosse career as I've lost coaches all of my high school careers. I've been chosen Captain for my junior and my senior year and we have had positive records for the past 5 years. But my sophomore year we've had above 500 records and our coach making someone step up to the leadership role and me taking charge and started conditioning as a team and got closer as teammates. I had the sit out of a couple games due to grades not being up to date and that taught me a huge lesson on what education really is, a gateway. and coming into my junior year I have high honors and expect to keep it that way. I want to play upon the college level, not just to be a player but to be a student as well and to be the first in my family to graduate from college. one major flaw and a blessing are that I will put others in front of me and that is a good thing and a bad thing but when it comes to Lacrosse I make that a priority and become more selfish. I love the sport of lacrosse and will thrive to play in the next level. I want to go to college for the academics as I am very interested in learning the subject of both chemistry and psychology, but being a student-athlete is a dream of mine that I have had for a really long time and I will make a reality.
