Dalton Yates '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dalton Yates.  I am a junior at Upper St. Clair High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  I have been a multi-sport athlete for many years playing lacrosse, football, and basketball.  I take great pride in my family, friends, and faith.

I am a disciplined athlete and student.  I dedicate multiple days a week to work with a trainer who specializes in speed and agility.  I choose to challenge myself both on and off the field working independently to improve my skills.  I believe that putting time into training and stick work on a consistent basis separates me from my peers.

I was a starter on the varsity lacrosse team my freshman and sophmore years and plan to make significant contributions as both a leader and teammate the next 2 years.  I played a dual role as a leading midfielder and the main F/O for my high school team.  The fall of 2022 and summer of 2023 I have chosen to play for the 79er's Lacrosse club in Pittsburgh. I believe their coaching staff will help me reach the most potential both on and off the lacrosse field.

I am looking to find a collegiant lacrosse program that will mesh well with my values of hard work, determination and grit while having a “family” type culture.  In addition, I am seeking a program that will push me as a student and athlete.
