Tyler Vendetti '21 Recruiting Profile

I consider myself a high IQ player who tries to make players around me better.  I dodge hard with my head up and try to feed open players.  I play attack, man up and some offensive midfield.  I've been playing club for True Utah 2020/21 State for the last four years and have also played for True Utah Box Select (USBOXLA) for three years.  I love the fast pace, physical play and two-man game in tight spaces of box.

As a sophomore we won the Utah Class A State Championship for the second year in a row.  I made All-State Honorable Mention at Attack averaging 3.4 points per game.   I was also named Varsity Rookie of the Year.  As a Freshman I was a JV Captain, MVP and averaged 4.4 points per game.  When available, I also played with the Freshman / Sophomore team and was also awarded that team's MVP.   At the end of the season I was called up to the Varsity team for the state playoffs.  Park City won the Class A State Championship.    

I'm a serious student with a 4.25 Weighted GPA.  I take AP and Honors classes whenever given the option.  I'm an active member of the National Honor Society, Students Serving Soldiers and volunteer at Summit Community Gardens. 

I want to study science or social science at a top academic school with a competitive lacrosse program.

When I was younger I earned a 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and was a prior Utah State Champion in several disciplines.
