My name is Colsten Thompson, you could ask anyone in Hartselle what I do everyday after school and before school, and they would say "practice basketball". Basketball is my life, and hopefully will be my future! I'm 5'8 "still growing, the doctor says I am a late bloomer". I weight 130 lbs. I would say that I am pretty fast and pretty quick. I can jump high for a kid of my size. I am a great accurate shooter as you will see as soon as I put the video on here. I'm also a very well defender! If you ask me to get a steal, I WILL get a steal! Now, on to the next subject. My accomplishment is recieving the basketball skill i pertain right now! I have been playing the game of basketball since I was 4 years old, which has been twelve years, and I have loved every minute of it! Now, last year in my freshman season, I was the captain of my 9th grade team. I lead my team to a 2nd place conference winners. In the county championship, I had 18 points but was not enough to lead us to the championship. The highlights contain an awesome half court buzzer shot to lead us in halftime by 2! But, in the end, we lost by 7. The one thing I offer to a team is leadership! �??Ask not what your teammates can do for you. Ask what you can do for your teammates.�?? - Magic Johnson. That quote right there describes to you what I am about. I will lead my team unitl the end! No turning back! Never under estimate a heart of a champion. As for me, I will work as hard as I can, unitl i fall on the ground and die! I work hard on the court, as well as in the classroom! Its my dream to be the number one recruit in the nation and to be a college-bound basketball player! I will typically go to any D-1 college or D-2 college. I am really wanting to go play at a D-1 college! But a scholarship for any college is just fine by me! I live in northern Alabama, so I would love to go to Alabama University. I love their basketball program, and the coach. Auburn University would be my next choice! As I said in the last paragraph, I am looking for a big college. I want to have alot of good teachers and meet new good friends there! I would love for it to be a D-1 or D-2 college level. My athletic goals are to be the best I could possibly be in the college level of the choice of division. Where ever I play, I WILL give it my all! I will change the rating of the team I play for!
