Graham Copeland '19 Recruiting Profile

I would like to be remembered as a collegiate player and teammate who was fearless and relentless in terms of my work ethic on and off the court. I truly believe that I am very coachable and will do whatever is asked of me, whether it is to be the leader of my team or support my team from the bench.

Even though I am undersized, I have recognized that I am stronger and quicker than many of my opponents and look to exploit those advantages. I have also developed a quick release which has given me more shot opportunities, especially from behind the arc. My court vision is also very strong and it carries over to quarterbacking my high school football team as well. In addition, I do a very nice job of leading by example; I strive to set the bar high for myself and others on the court, in the weight room, and in the classroom. 

What separates me from many players is that I always look to make the simple play. I will never try to do too much and always rely on my teammates. I recognize my abilities and utilize them as best as I can. I am also the player who will do the "little things" such as take charges and dive after loose balls. In addition, I am never satisfied with mediocrity, not only in athletics but in academics. I do not enjoy settling for average grades and always look to challenge myself by choosing a relatively difficult course load. This mentality trickles down into everyday life as well, as I always push myself to be the best son, brother, and peer I can be.
