Spencer Love '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a determined athlete wishing to pursue basketball further at a collegiate and eventual professional level. I would love the opportunity to play overseas. As I continue my athletic journey, I also wish to complete a bachelors in Sports management and marketing. In high school I played at a varsity level for three years, during my time I was a recipient of multiple MVP awards and named Alaska athlete of the week. I had the privilege of being selected all-region and all-state. My teammates and coaches chose me to be the team captain for two consecutive seasons as a result of my ability to work collaboratively and help my teammates develop. Past coaches have told me that I demonstrate a high basketball IQ and am consistently the “First to the gym and the last to leave”. I am coachable and possess unlimited range, excellent court vision, awareness, and sportsmanship that would make me a great asset to any team. My mom played collegiate basketball, influencing me to want to do the same. I wish to continue in her footsteps by pursuing a future doing what I love.
